FUO Ag. Vice Chancellor pays a Courtesy visit to the Isale-Osun community.

The visit which took place on Wednesday 11th January, 2017 at the Isale Osun community hall. The Vice Chancellor in his speech lauded the community members for the love and usual support for the university. He said that the visit is to get more familiarize with members of the community and to build on the existing good and strong relationship between the two. He prayed for the progress of the community, its members and Osogboland at large.

In his address, the head (Baale) of the community in person of Alhaji Imam Muhammad-Solihu Monilade registered his enthusiasm in hosting the team from the university under the leadership of Prof A. Usman. Alhaji Monilade stressed importance of dialogue and peaceful coexistence and so reiterated supports of the Isale-Osun community. He added that both university and the community have a symbiotic relationship. In other words, as the university needs support of the community so also the community needs services of the university. He urged the university management not to swallow her courage as some bad heads from the community continue to forment troubles on the land of the university. The Baale expantiated that those bad heads are not representatives of the community nor do they represent its mandate. The Isale-Osun community is always in support of the university and fountain university is our pride, we say it everywhere, he added. He finally prayed that the Ag. Vice Chancellor has a happy stay in his office and the that the university, staff and students continue to grow and succeed.
