  • Foreign Policy and Socio-Economic Development in Nigeria.
  • A nation’s foreign policy is always seen as the extension of its domestic policy. In other words, a nation’s foreign policy is determined by the internal dynamics of its domestic policies. It is usually determined by the interest of the dominant class (ruling class) controlling the state apparatus or the machinery of governance (Ebegbulen 2004). The foreign policy of any nation has always been a reflection of its domestic aspiration i.e. the paramount survival of sovereignty.
